Standard lamination. With the Fargo DTC550 duplex inline lamination module, you’re able to protect your cards from tampering, forgery, and physical wear-and-tear. Over laminates - especially those with microtext or holographics - add a layer of visual security to your cards, making duplication difficult. The card is also durable to reduce swipe abrasion, dye migration and to shield against UV light that may cause images to fade.

Optional USB and Ethernet. The Fargo DTC550 LC duplex printer supports secure ID card issuance at multiple locations throughout your organization. With an internal print server and Ethernet port, your IT staff can install a DTC550 card printer anywhere on a LAN. This printer also includes optional Print Security software, granting your security team absolute control over ID card printer access.

Special printer driver utility. Special printer driver utility. The Fargo Workbench printer utility is included in your driver. This is a user-friendly printer security, diagnostics and firmware upgrades tool that allows  password-controlled access to your printer, the use a library of Fargo card samples, the ability to gain access to key printer and ribbon information (e.g., ribbon type, printer serial number, listing of installed options, ribbon amount used, etc.) and the ability to run various troubleshooting and diagnostics tests!
