The Fargo duplex C30e printer provides simple, reliable and affordable card printing. The Fargo 54402 printer is loaded with built-in versatility, and is ready to adapt to your future needs. Plus, it is already configured to handle two-sided printing, allowing you to take advantage of all the printable surface on your cards.
Note: The Fargo duplex C30e printer (Fargo 54402) is the new, enhanced version of the best-selling Fargo duplex C30 printer. The Fargo 54402 directly replaces Fargo 44402, as well as its various configurations.
It's never been so versatile. The new generation Fargo duplex C30e printers feature color printing enhancements that provide true-to-life photos, and sharp text and images. The Fargo duplex C30 printer is additionally ready to print on a wide range of materials, including:
Thin cards These are increasingly popular for membership and loyalty programs, mass transit systems and health care facilities. Thin cards are flexible and lightweight, and therefore easy to mail.
Rewritable cards Do you use cards on a short-term basis and then have to throw them out? The Fargo C30 duplex printer can help eliminate this waste. Special heat-sensitive cards are erased and printed using the heating element of the Fargo duplex C30 printer's printhead. Rewritable cards can be used for up to 200 erase cycles. No ribbon is necessary for rewritable card printing!
Technology cards Use contact or contactless smart cards, proximity or magnetic stripe cards for access control, debit transactions or other applications in addition to photo ID.
Fargo holographic foil cards A complete line of Fargo security cards are available that offer a cost-effective solution to adding visual security elements to your ID cards—without the need for lamination equipment. Simply open the front panel, slide in the ribbon cartridge and close the panel! And since the card cleaning roller is part of the Fargo 54402 printer's ribbon cartridge, it is automatically changed every time the ribbon is changed, removing potentially damaging dust and debris from your cards.
Choose your interface and encoding capabilities. The Fargo duplex C30e printer can be ordered ready for Ethernet so that you can share your card personalization application over your network. You may also choose to add magnetic stripe or smart card encoding to create multi-functional ID cards.
